Giacomo has eight years of experience working on large energy and infrastructure projects in Italy and the UK, both in project management and design roles. Since relocating to New Zealand in 2016 he has been working on seismic engineering projects.
Engineering skills include seismic design / assessment / retrofit of commercial and industrial buildings, structural analysis and design of steel and concrete offshore structures for Oil & Gas and Offshore Wind, stability and hydrodynamic assessment of floating structures, interpretation of metocean and geotechnical data and experience with a wide range of environmental services (bathymetric surveys, thermal mapping, hydrological and biochemical modelling).
In his spare time, Giacomo composes and plays music and he enjoys running and swimming.
